Mobile Web Surveys in Emerging Markets
Conducting research in emerging markets throughout Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America is more important than ever before, and the mobile phone is the fastest, most cost-effective way to conduct research in these areas. That’s why GeoPoll provides clients the options to send mobile surveys via several modes, including text message (SMS), mobile web, mobile application, and voice calls.
Mobile web surveys are sent to respondents via an initial text message containing a link to a mobile web survey, which can be hosted by GeoPoll or an external platform. Mobile web surveys are popular because they allow for more complex question types, including video, picture, and matrix questions. While they require the respondent to have a data (internet) connection, they do not require a smartphone.
